Yay!!!

I received the most awesome package yesterday! I finally settled on 500, that didn't use even half of the book I sent! I need to come up with some cool project to use the rest :)




They look so pretty in a bowl :) If only I had the space to leave them like that... and if I didn't need that bowl for a salad tonight!



The close up... In their past life these were a collection of Edgar Allen Poe stories so they have all these fun big crazy words.



There is just something about the text, paper, and metal that is very very nice...

Stamping Labels

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. My little sew in labels started grating on my nerves, they catch on things and are just in general scratchy and obnoxious. This is how I am folks. Something will be totally fine and cool but over time a hatred grows till I can't stand it anymore! It's a big risk letting my crazy show ;)

ANYWAYS. I cut the stamp out all by myself (woo!). I think it turned out fantastic! Two parts acrylic paint, One part fabric medium and we're good to go. Heat set with the trusty iron.

Here's one in action! I totally love this. Totally.


Yellow with purple, the purple is dark in the photo but trust me... it's awesome :)
